By using leapcoaching.org or booking a session, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book a session.

What is offered, and what is not

Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD provides coaching and consulting services. Coaching is educational and goal-oriented. It is designed to help you understand your own motivation, clarify goals, and build skills.

Coaching is not: Psychotherapy or counseling; Medical or psychiatric treatment; Psychological assessment or diagnosis; Crisis intervention or emergency care.

Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD has practiced as a professional coach in the United States for the past five years and was previously licensed to practice psychology in the United Kingdom by the British Psychological Society. He is not offering his services in the United States as a licensed psychologist, therapist, or counselor. No therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship is created by using this site or by working together.

Nothing on this site is a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are receiving treatment, coaching is not a replacement for it, and you are encouraged to tell your treating professional that you are working with a coach.

If you are in crisis

Coaching is not an emergency service and messages are not monitored continuously. If you are in crisis or considering harming yourself, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or go to your nearest emergency room. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency number.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site and to book a session.

Booking, cancellation, and payment

The free introductory conversation carries no charge and no obligation.

Payment. Payment is due before each session.

Cancellation and rescheduling. Please give at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a paid session.

If you cancel late or miss a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, and sessions missed without notice, are charged in full. Genuine emergencies, as determined by Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD, are excluded from this charge.

If Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD cancels late. If a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice from his side, you receive one free session. Genuine emergencies, as determined by Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD, are excluded.

Refunds. A full refund is issued where notice is given before the 48-hour window and a written refund request is made.

Your responsibilities

Coaching depends on your participation. You are responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take. Outcomes vary between people, and no specific result is promised or guaranteed.

You agree to provide accurate information, and to tell Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD if your circumstances change in a way that affects the suitability of coaching.

Confidentiality and its limits

What you discuss is treated as confidential and is not shared without your permission, with these exceptions: Where disclosure is required by law; Where there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person; Where you have given explicit permission.

As noted above, coaching is not covered by therapist-client privilege. A court can compel disclosure of coaching records in circumstances where therapy records might be protected.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including written material, course lessons, slides, companion documents, and assessment materials, is the property of Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD or is used with permission. You may use it for your own personal purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publish it, or use it to train an automated system, without written permission.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content, to attempt unauthorized access, or to interfere with its operation.

Third-party services and links

This site uses and links to third-party services, including Google Calendar for booking and Jotform for intake. Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Javad Salehi Fadardi, PhD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
